Etude Lithostratigraphique Et Sédimentologique De La Série Détritique Du Crétacé Inferieur De La Région In Saleh « Bassin De L’ahnet Oriental »
Résumé: The present work consists of studying the Lower Cretaceous deposit in the In Salah region, which is part of the eastern part of the Ahnet Basin. Two lithological sections were made in the study area, they are characterized by a large siliciclastic discharge (sandstone and clay) with frequent variation of thickness. The lithostratigraphic and sedimentological study made it possible to distinguish three basic formations at the top; The basal sandstone formation materialized by sandstone from an upper offshore to shore face; The clayey sandstone formation materialized by sandstone with clay passages of a medium between the fore shore and the shore face; The sandstone formation at the top materialized by sandstone of an environment between the shore face and the offshore. The sequential analysis of the studied sections of the lower Cretaceous corresponds to regressive mesoséquences (negative sequence), and a transgressive mesosquence (positive sequence)
