دراســـة تجريبية ونظرية لتحسين أداء المقطر الشمسي البسيط (دراسة خاصة بمنطقة ورقلة)
Résumé: In the field of water desalination in desert areas, several models with improvements have been proposed with simple one-slope solar still. The improvements are divided into two types. The first was dealt with the cooling of the condenser and the second type dealt with heating the evaporator. There have been five experiments all conducted in the region of Ouargla with a dry desert climate. The study, both experimental and theoretical, confirmed that adding a heat pump evaporator that is not exposed to direct sunlight to condense the steam and not exposing this condenser to sunlight is the best combination to increase the productivity of pure water. The second best in the rank is covering the evaporator with a layer of black sponge. The other best is using a non-thick glass .One of the experiments proved that cooling the air next to the outer side of the glass cover has a significant effect in increasing the amount of distilled water. Finally, It was also noted that using two layers of glass had had no benefit in increasing productivity. To sum it up, the overall idea of the present study was in combining the two procedures: cooling the condenser and heating the evaporator without direct heat exchange between the two. The heat transfer between these two procedures is limited to the steam inside the distillation cell
