Valorisation Des Déchets Ligno-cellulosiques, Issus Du Palmier Dattier, En Charbon Actif
Résumé: The objective of this study is to evaluate ligno-cellulosic biomasses in activated carbons prepared from date palm waste from traditional Adrar palm groves: petioles, floral stems, fibrillum and spathes, using a simple pyrolysis process 450 ° C. preceded by chemical impregnation with 40% phosphoric acid. The ash contents of the various substrates are: 11.08 ± 0.05; 7.96 ± 0.30; 4.37 ± 1.31 and 7.00 ± 0.11 (%), respectively. The iodine numbers of the activated carbons are 247.46 ± 80.76; 786.78 ± 21.98; 596.43 ± 21.98; 494.93 ± 38.04 mg / g. respectively. A test for the absorption of activated carbons was evaluated by the nitrate removal test. The nitrate removal yields were 47.34; 47.9; 43.92 and 43.86%, respectively. The quantities of nitrates adsorbed by the active carbons from petioles, floral stems, fibrillum and spathes are respectively 94,68; 95.8; 87.84 and 87.72 (mg / g). Our results show that activated carbon from floral stems and petioles have the highest amounts of adsorbed nitrate, which arecorrelated with the highest removal efficiencies.
