Résumé: The research is under the title: The significance of the context in the Holy Qur'an "Surat Yusuf as a model", which is a study that focuses on the significance contained in the context in the Qur'anic text, as well as highlighting the locations of its occurrence in SuratYusuf, in addition to knowing its foundations and principles. The context is defined as the complete construction of interconnected paragraphs in relation to any of its parts, or those parts that immediately follow a particular paragraph or word. Context is divided into four types: linguistic context, emotional context, situational context, and cultural context. Its significance is to understand what precedes it and what follows it. The quranic context can be defined as the internal and external factors that surround the text. Its importance also lies in the fact that it is considered one of the principles of the interpretation of the prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, among its benefits is the correct understanding of the meanings of the Noble Qur'an, and this is what keeps a person from falling into distorting the words of God Almighty.
