Résumé: يتناول هذا المقال شخصية احمدو بامبا أحد أفطاب الصوفية في السنغال في أواخر القرن التاسع عشر، و مؤسس الطريقة المريدية ،و كان له نهجا خاصا في محاربة الاستعمار الفرنسي ،كما عاش حياة علمية زاخرة إذا تتلمذ على يد أهم علماء موريتانيا و السنغال ، ترك مؤلفات عديدة في جميع الفنون الإسلامية ،و انضم إلى طريقتة عدد كبير من الأتباع و أسس مدينة طوبى عاصمة الطريقة المريدية من أهم المدن المقدسة في إفريقيا ،تستقبل ملايين الزوار سنويا لاحتفال بذكرى نفي الشيخ من طرف السلطات الاستعمارية . This article deals with the personality of Ahmetu Bamba, who was a saint of Wali and a religious leader in Senegal in the late 19th century and founded the Mouride Brotherhood. He had a special approach in the struggle against French colonialism. He also lived a great scientific life if he was educated by the most important scholars of Mauritania and Senegal. He left many works in all the Islamic arts and gained a large number of followers. He founded his holy city of Tuba, the capital of mouridiya, which millions visit annually to commemorate the Sheikh's exile by the colonial authorities
