Résumé: الملخص: عمل الإستعمار الفرنسي على ضرب المقومات الأساسية للشخصية الجزائرية من دين ولغة وعادات وتقاليد من خلال نشر الفتن والبدع ، ومنع تعلم اللغة العربية ، الأمر الذي أدى ببروز جماعة النخبة المثقفة الجزائرية التي كان لسياسة فرنسا التعليمية دورا بارزا في ظهورها ، فكان لها جهودا فعالة في نهضة الجزائر الفكرية ، وكان انقسام النخبة المثقفة الجزائرية نهاية القرن 19 وبداية القرن 20 إلى نخبة محافظة و أخرى مجددة ومفرنسة ، والتي تأثرت بمجموعة من العوامل الخارجية والداخلية ساهمت في بلو رة نشاطها ، وكانت دراستنا حول شخصية متميزة كان لها دورا كبيرا في المجال التعليمي والثقافي ، وهو الشيخ عبد الحليم بن سماية فتحدثنا عن حياته ودراسته ودوره الثقافي ومواقفه من بعض القوانين الاستعمارية . Abstarct French colonialismworked to strikeat the basic elements of the Algerian character of religion, language, customs and traditions by spreadingstrife and heresies, and preventing the learning of the Arabiclanguage, whichled to the emergence of the Algerian educatedelite group, in whichFrance'seducationalpolicyhad a prominentrole in itsemergence, and ithad effective efforts in the renaissance of AlgeriaIntellectual, and the division of the Algerian educatedeliteat the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th centuryinto a conservative elite and anotherinnovator and French, whichwasaffected by a group of external and internalfactorsthatcontributed to the crystallization of itsactivity, and ourstudywas about a distinguishedpersonalitywhohad a greatrole in the educational and cultural field, whichis Sheikh Abdul Halim bin Samaya, sowetalked about his life, hisstudies, his cultural role, and his stances on some colonial laws.
