Résumé: يحتفظ المتحف العمومي الوطني للآثار القديمة بمجموعات غنية من المسكوكات أو العملات النقدية التي تعود للحضارة الرومانية، أين تُتيح للباحثين في علم الآثار والدارسين للحضارات القديمة استنباط حقائق ومعلومات أثرية وتاريخية مختلفة وجدُ هامة، خاصة تلك المتعلقة بالجانب الاقتصادي، وذلك بالدراسة المباشرة والتطبيقية على العملات النقدية، ومقارنة المعطيات والمعلومات التي وُجدت عليها بالنصوص الكتابية القديمة وذلك لفهم الأحوال والأوضاع الاقتصادية للحضارة الرومانية ومسارها منذ بداية العهد الامبراطوري وما آلت إليه العملات النقدية في نهاية الامبراطورية الرومانية The National Public Museum of Antiquities in Algiers maintains rich collections of coins to the Roman civilization, which allow researchers in arc.heology and students of ancient civilizations to derive different and very important archaeological and historical facts and information, especially those related to the economic aspect, by direct and applied study on coins And comparing the data and information found on it with the ancient written texts in order to understand the economic conditions and conditions of the Roman civilization and its path since the beginning of the imperial era and what the monetary currencies became at the end of the Roman Empire..
