It is the core of the city and the basis of its creation. It is a living space that performs social functions and represents an integrated functional pattern in its external and internal appearance. Among these palaces is the Old Palace of Ouargla, which is characterized by its traditional social and urban structure that makes up its three neighborhoods: Beni Brahim, Beni Ouagguin, Beni Sissin. This palace today is witnessing deep social, economic and demographic transformations, these transformations have been evident in the urban structure of the palace, This led to change the traditional functions, that was performing (security and environmental protection, privacy)In addition to its old functions such as trade and industry, new ones have emerged
