Résumé: This research is about new media, it shows its beginning and its evolution. There are many changes in communication which justify the search for new theories to study this phenomenon. There is a need for new studies which take into account features related to new media such as : interaction and openness… furthermore, the necessity to deal with the basic media and social phenomena, which is still of concern within societies. Yet, traditional mass media was not sufficient to cope with it. For instance, social change, media ethics and influencing public opinion, which actually lead to an increasing need for more investigations both in the present time and in the future. Evidently, the new media tools shape efficiently public opinion by the immediate transmission and the tremendous amount of information. This provides the users with all the needed data about the issue he is making an opinion about.
