Fear Of Coronavirus Pandemic (covid-19) And Its Relationship To Death Anxiety Among

Résumé: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى كشف العلاقة بين ‏الخوف من جائحة كورونا (كوفيد-19) وقلق الموت ‏لدى عينة من ‏الممرضين ‏بقطاع الصحة العمومية. كما ‏حاولت أيضا التعرف على أثر كل من النوع والسن ‏على متغيرات ‏الدراسة. تم اختيار ‏عينة غرضية قوامها ‏‏102 ممرض من الجنسين أجابوا على مقياسي ‏الخوف من جائحة كورونا ‏‏(عامر، 2020) ‏وقلق ‏الموت (عبد الخالق، 1996). توصلت الدراسة ‏إلى عدم وجود علاقة ذات دلالة احصائية بين ‏الخوف ‏من كورونا وقلق الموت ‏لدى ‏الممرضين. كما أظهرت ‏النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في ‏الخوف ‏من كورونا تعزى للنوع أو السن أو ‏التفاعل ‏بينهما. بينما أسفرت الدراسة على وجود فروق ذات ‏دلالة إحصائية في قلق ‏الموت تعزى للنوع فقط من ‏دون تأثير ‏للسن أو التفاعل بينهما على نفس المتغير.‏ Abstract. The current study aimed to ‎reveal the relationship between fear of ‎Corona ‎pandemic ‎‎(Covid-19) and death ‎anxiety among a sample of nurses in ‎the ‎public health sector. It also ‎tried to ‎identify the effect of gender and age ‎ on ‎the study variables. A purposive sample ‎of ‎‎102 male and female nurses ‎was ‎selected who answered the two scales, ‎fear of the Corona ‎pandemic ‎‎(Amer, ‎‎2020) and death anxiety (Abdelkhalek, ‎‎1996). The study found that there ‎was ‎no ‎statistically significant relationship ‎between fear of Corona and anxiety ‎of ‎death ‎among nurses. The results also ‎showed that there were no ‎statistically ‎significant ‎differences in fear ‎of Corona due to gender, age, or ‎interaction ‎between them. While ‎the ‎study resulted in the presence of ‎statistically ‎significant differences in ‎death anxiety due to ‎gender only, ‎without the ‎effect of age or the ‎interaction between them on the same ‎variable.‎
