Analysing A Reading Sequence From The "new Headway Book" For Pre-intermediate Learners
Résumé: This paper aims at analysing a sequence from the "New Headway Book for pre-intermediate learners of English" to discover the extent to which the reading sequences play a significant role in addressing students’ needs at different parts of the sequence. By following some categorization by researchers (Johns and Davies, 1983) on how the reading questions are structure, these "New Headway books" are designed in a way that helps both teachers and learners to achieve the same goals in the teaching and learning process.
