Résumé: تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى التدقيق والبحث في مصطلح "المحدث" بوصفه من أهم الاستعمالات الاصطلاحية إشكالية في كتاب "العمدة"، بل وفي تاريخ النقد الأدبي العربي؛ والدراسة المقترحة في هذا الباب تركز على وصف المصطلح لكشف أهم دلالاته وصفاته ومرادفاته ومقابلاته والقضايا التي يثيرها في المتن المدروس. This paper seeks to scrutinize and research the term "AL MOHDITH" as it is considered one of the most problematic terminological uses not only in Al Omda Book, but also in the history of Arab literary criticism. The suggested study, in this section, focuses on describing the terminology to find out its most important indications, descriptions, synonyms, antonyms and issues it evokes in the text under study.
