Résumé: The current study aims to know the nature of the relationship between social networking and theyouth crisis, by identifying the nature of the crises that young people suffer from and how they affect young people’s use of social networking, by asking the following main question: What is the nature of the relationship between the Algerian youth crisis and social networking? The study aims to address this topic through the following sub-questions: -What is the relationship between the use of social networks and the identity crisis among Algerian youth? -What is the relationship between the use of social networks and the crisis of empowerment and participation among Algerian youth? -What is the relationship between the use of social networks and the migration crisis among young Algerians? To answer the previous questions, the study relied on the descriptive, analytical, correlational approach, with its quantitative and qualitative aspects. This study was applied to a cross-sectional sample consisting of (60) young people in the Ain Sahara neighborhood in the city of Touggourt. The questionnaire form was chosen as a tool for collecting data, data, and information about young people in a specific period of time. In processing data, data and information, the study relied on the SPSS program. The study reached a set of results showing the relationship of social media networks to the Algerian youth crisis, which are: Youth in crisis do not have specific time to browse social networking sites, and they spend most of their time browsing social networking sites. The youth in crisis still maintain their identity, by mastering the Arabic language, feeling proud of their homeland, and browsing matters related to the history of their homeland. Males suffer from the crisis more than females, because females have more opportunities for empowerment and participation. Most of the young males in crisis are thinking about immigration and use social networking sites to migrate, but this behavior does not exist among females.
