Résumé: Our study focused on protecting the environment from the danger of waste in Algerian legislation. In this study, we reviewed the concept of the environment, its elements, the development of legislation related to it, and the forms of legal protection of the environment in Algerian legislation in terms of the institutional framework or the legal aspect. To remedy the matter, protecting the environment from the danger of various wastes was prepared. The Algerian legislator has several laws that aim to protect and preserve the environment, taking into account the necessity of economic growth. However, the duplication of these laws and their operation, and their technical nature, make them difficult to implement by the administration and the judiciary
