العملات المشفرة: فرص وتحديات استخدامها

Résumé: الملخص العملة الافتراضية هي عبارة عن شبكة مشفرة من نظير إلى نظير تهدف لتسهيل المقايضة الرقمية، وهي تقنية تم تطويرها منذ عشرة سنوات. ويعتبر البتكوين أول عملة مشفرة وأكثرها شيوعاً، تمهد الطريق لتكنولوجيا مختلفة عن أنظمة الدفع المالي السائدة منذ عدة عقود. لاستخدام هذه النقود مزايا متعددة، مثل التكاليف المنخفضة للمعاملات، لكن لا تضمنها أي دولة وتعتمد فقط على ثقة المستخدمين فيها. وفي حين أنه من غير المحتمل أن تحل العملات المشفرة محل العملة التقليدية، إلا أنها يمكن أن تغير الطريقة التي تتفاعل بها الأسواق العالمية المرتبطة بالإنترنت مع بعضها البعض، مما يزيل الحواجز المحيطة بالعملات الوطنية المعيارية وأسعار الصرف. Abstract Cryptocurrency, an encrypted, peer-to-peer network for facilitating digital barter, is a technology developed ten years ago. Bitcoin, the first and most popular cryptocurrency, is paving the way as a different technology from the financial payment systems that have been in place for many decades. The use of this money has multiple advantages, such as low transaction costs, but is not guaranteed by any country and relies solely on user trust. While cryptocurrencies are not likely to replace traditional fiat currency, they could change the way Internet-connected global markets interact with each other, clearing away barriers surrounding normative national currencies and exchange rates.
