تقييم المنافسة في الصناعة المصرفية في الجزائر بالاعتماد على نموذج Panzar & Rosse

Résumé: استهدفت هاته الدراسة تقييم المنافسة على مستوى الصناعة المصرفية في الجزائر، و هذا باستخدام أحد النماذج غير الهيكلية لتقييم المنافسة، هو نموذج Panzar and Rosse، تم تقدير معالم هذا النموذج، بالاعتماد على أسلوب بيانات بانل، مكون من 13 بنك تجاري (خمسة منها عمومية، و الأخرى عبارة عن بنوك خاصة أجنبية)، خلال الفترة 2004/2014، توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الصناعة المصرفية في الجزائر تتميز بالتوازن في المدى الطويل، كما ان قيمة مؤشر H-statistic كانت صغيرة و موجبة، مما يدل على أن هاته الصناعة تتميز بهيكل منافسة احتكارية، و أن المنافسة داخلها هي ضعيفة، و هذا ما يفسره سيطرة البنوك العمومية على نشاط الوساطة المالية في الجزائر، و بالتالي فإن السلطات المشرفة على هاته الصناعة في الجزائر، مازالت مطالبة بالعمل أكثر من أجل تشجيع المنافسة بداخلها. This study Aimed to evaluate the level of competition within the Algerian banking industry. Using one of the non-structural models to assess the competition. It is the Panzar and Rosse model. We estimated the model. Using a panel data. Consisting of 13 commercial bank. Five public banks. And eight private foreign banks. During the 2004/2014 period. the results show that the Algerian banking industry is in long-run equilibrium. Also, the small and positive value of H-statistic index. indicates that the structure of this industry is characterized by monopolistic competition. And that competition within it, is weak. This is explained by public banks control on the financial intermediation activity in Algeria. And therefore, the Algerian banking supervisory authorities are still required to work more. to promote the competition in the banking industry.
