Résumé: The development of concentrated solar power performance depends on significantly improving the optical performance of the moving mirror field and improving the solar power conversion cycle with the storage unit. The objective of the memory is to study and know the evolution of the technologies of concentrated solar thermal power plants, specifically PS10. This is done through a study of optical loss of the heliostat field and by calculating the efficiency of each heliostat throughout the year with a time step of one hour using the data collected at the applied research unit in renewable energies UREAR -Ghardaia. For this reason, an in-depth study of documents and notes has been carried out in such a way as to make it possible to know the improvement in the techniques of concentration of solar thermal power plants, in particular of solar towers.
