Résumé: The study sought to diagnose the fact of the use of quantitative techniques to assist decisionmaking in the Algerian economic firms. A questionnaire has been constructed and distributed to a group of economic firms active in provence of Setif, and then analyzed by using the appropriate statistical otils. • The level of use of quantitative approaches to decision-making in firms under study is very weak; • There are no significant differences between private firms and public firms in the use of quantitative methods to assist decisionmaking; • There are no significant differences between big firms and SMEs in the use of quantitative methods to assist in decision making.
