Résumé: The book " Islah al-mantik" by Ibn al-Sikkīt is considered one of the most important linguistic calibration sources that contributed to refining the Arabic language, preserving it from corruption that spread among the public after the rise of Islam and the interaction of Arabs with non-Arabs. This study aims to highlight the scientific value of this manuscript, in which Ibn al-Sikkīt addressed language at all its phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels, and identified the prominent criteria of linguistic calibration relied upon therein.
