Résumé: In the context of the contemporary Arab’s thought response to the Arab reality in crisis, diverse issues have emerged among the most important ones: Democracy, Secularism, and Heritage. As we heavily focus actually on democracy and its determinism in the development of Arab society and the getting out of underdevelopment. On the other hand, Secularism is one of the most contentious issues for clash in the contemporary Arab culture. Meanwhile, the issue of identity was about to be solved for the benefit of an Arab identity even in the late sixties of the last century but it ended up to call for different identities : Islamic, Arabic; ethnic, nationalist,. The issue of heritage is considered to be the issue of the issues in the contemporary Arab thought.
