Résumé: ThTh e aim of this research is to underline the importance of the role of the university libraries in e-government project in Algeria, and to reveal the reality of modernization of the library sector in Algeria. ThTh e first aspect of our theoritical subject portrays the nature of e-government, and toto inin trotro dudu cece thth e Algerian e-government project 2013, then we dealt with the university library site within this project. ThTh e second aspect of our work is a survey that aims to investigate the site of the university library within the project of electronic government, the Algerian 2013 thth roro ughugh a field study which was applied at the central library of the University of Jijel. One questionnaire and interview was administrated to the company personnel have helped us to gather significant data to get results that confirm the hypotheses stated. These results show that the technological developments adopted by the library jojo inin inging MeMe dada TeTe mpmp us project contributes to the embodiment of e-government project in Algeria. At the end, we point out the main results of our research insisting on the necessity to apply modern information technologies and communications in the university libraries in order to provide modern services that will contribute in the rere alization of e-government in Algeria.
