Résumé: ملخص: على الرغم من أن المجتمع الدولي لم يغفل الاهتمام بالأطفال وبحاجتهم للحماية والرعاية إلا اننا ما نشاهده في أنحاء عديدة من العالم من انتهاكات حقوق الطفل شيء يدعو إلى الحزن العميق ولاسيما في زمن الحروب فتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى عرض وتحليل وتقييم القواعد القانونية المتعلقة بحماية الاطفال وذلك بتحديد مفهوم الطفل ثم تحليل أحكام الحماية الخاصة المكفولة لهم بموجب القانون الدولي الإنساني وفروع القانون الدولي العام الأخرى (القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان والقانون الدولي الجنائي والقانون الدولي للعمل).وأخيرا تقييم ضمانات حماية الأطفال في النزاعات المسلحة الدولية من خلال النظر وفحص آليات الحماية الدولية.
