Résumé: :ملخص يرتبط التراث ارتباطا وثيقا بالشعب وهو جزء من ماضية تاريخا وحضارة ،وكتّاب المسرح من الرواد الذين عبروا عن هذا الشعب، وعن كل ما يشغله، فكان لا بد لهم من الرجوع إلى التراث / الماضي لما فيه من خصب وغنى يمد الأدب بالمادة الخام، ونظرا لتعلق الإنسان في كل زمان ومكان بحكايات التاريخ القديم، والتمسك بها حد القداسة، وقد ظهر ذلك عند كتاب المسرح المعاصرين على وجه الخصوص، وعز الدين جلاوجي واحد منهم، استلهم التراث بأشكاله المختلفة : الديني، والشعبي، والعادات والتقاليد وقد حاول من خلال مسرحياته قراءة الواقع الجديد وقضايا الراهن بأدوات تراثية من خلال إسقاط الماضي على الحاضر من أجل تفسيره.
