Résumé: ملخص البحث: تتناول هذه الدراسة التقسيم الإداري الذي استحدثته الدولة العثمانية في بلاد الشام في بداية القرن السادس عشر الميلادي بتشكيل ولاية العرب والألوية والنواحي والأقضية المكونّة لها وهذا استنادا إلى الوثائق الأرشيفية العثمانية مثل دفاتر المهمة و دفاتر الطابو . Abstract : This research aims at studying the administrative division that the ottoman state created in the « Bilad al-sham » in the begining of the 16th century by forming Arab Provence, its districts and sub-districts, taking into account the ottoman archives such as important document (Muhime defteri) and recent registrations (Tapu defteri).
