محمد السعيد الزاهري

Résumé: محمد سعيد الزاهري واحد من رجال الإصلاح في الجزائر، بدأ حياته النشطة في مجال الإصلاح ونشر الوعي وهو لا يزال طالبا في جامع الزيتونة، ثم عاد إلى وطنه ليبدأ مشوارا حافلا بالعمل والنشاط في مجال التدريس قدوة بمعلمه الشيخ عبد الحميد بن باديس واتخذ من العمل الصحفي وسيلة لنشر أفكاره الإصلاحية وإنتقاد ما كان يراه فاسدا في المجتمع الجزائري والسياسة الاستعمارية، الأمر الذي عرض جرائده التي أنشأها إلى التوقيف المستمر من قبل السلطات الاستعمارية. وتوج نشاطه هذا بانضمامه إلى جمعية العلماء المسلمين الجزائريين، فكان له نشاط واسع في غرب البلاد، حتى تاريخ المؤتمر الإسلامي سنة 1936 لما انسحب من الجمعية و أصبح مساندا للتيار الاستقلالي بقيادة مصالي الحاج. لكن تحيزه لهذا الأخير بعد قيام ثورة التحرير المباركة كان له الأثر المأساوي في نهاية هذا الشيخ الذي ملأ الساحة الجزائرية بكتاباته النثرية والشعرية وفتحت صحفه أبوابها لكل الأقلام النزيهة للمساهمة في نهضة الجزائر الثقافية والفكرية. He culminated his activity by joining the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars. He had extensive activity in the west of the country until the date of the Islamic Conference in 1936 when he withdrew from the association and became a supporter of the independent movement led by Masali al-Hadj. But his bias towards the latter after the revolution of blessed liberation had a tragic impact at the end of this Sheikh, who filled the Algerian arena with his writings prose and poetry and opened his newspapers to all fair pens to contribute to the renaissance of Algeria cultural and intellectual
