Résumé: تتنوع المصادر التي يستقي منها الشاعر صوره ، ويعد المجاز والخيال ،من أبرزها وهذه الملَكة تمتلك قدرة على ابتداع صور في الذهن لأشياء غير مدركة بالحواس، ، وإلى جانب الخيال هناك الواقع الحسي ممثلا في المشاهد المرئية في الحياة اليومية والواقع الذهني ، ويشمل المؤثرات النفسية والانفعالات العاطفية ،التي هي في النهية عدول عن صيغ إحالية. فالصورة تنطوي على إشارات شتى تخلق لنا عالما مجازيا خيارا إيجابيا ، ومنه تتبع قيمة كل قصيدة في طاقتها على الإيحاء ، لذلك يعمد جل الشعراء المعاصرين في ممارستهم الابداعية إلى جعل الصورة الشعرية كأحد الاستراتيجيات التي يغنون بها نصوصهم الإبداعية بكل أبعادها وأدواتها .
