Effet De Quelques Bio-agresseurs Du Dattier Et Impact Des Méthodes De Lutte Sur La Qualité Du Produit Datte. -cas De La Région De Ghardaïa-

Résumé: The date palm tree is subject to attacks of a great variety of pests witch cause damage on its production. In this way of ideas, this study goes on, in the title year of 2010/2011, in the wilaya of Ghardaïa, taken as place study, to elucidate effects of some of these bioagressors. It concerns date moth (Ectomyeloïs ceratoniae Zeller), date dust mite (Olygonychu afrasiaticus McGregor) and white scale (Parlatoria blanchardi Targ.), and to situate on the impact of control methods against them besides the quality of date product. The results of white scale infestation, has revealed a noticeable palm grove type effect in opposition to cultivar effect; the infestation ratios fluctuate between the levels 0,5 and 3. The Boufaroua mite has not taken effect on this year; the production is saved without horrible influence of it. However, date moth, witch is the important pest causing damages to date quality, remains also threatening all date varieties in this region. As to control methods, witch reman also of chemical nature, are rejected by the farmers on the two zones. Finally, the pursuit of studies on pest damages for other date varieties, and the control of some pests installation, their effects on cultures, and the impacts of revolutionary control methods (biopesticides, mass-traps), remain of major importance.
