Etude Du Potentiel Probiotique Des Bacteries Lactiques Isolees A Partir D’artemia Sp.
Résumé: Aquatic lactic acid bacteria isolated from fish, crustaceans and seafood play a very important role in the intestinal flora and can be used as a probiotic in aquaculture. The aim of this work was to isolate bacteria with high probiotic potential from Artemia sp. taken from Oum Errenab (Sidi khouiled) -Ouargla chott. Twenty three (23) lactic acid bacteria were tested for their antagonism against ten indicator strains. The interesting strains have been tested for their lactic acid production, their biofilm production, as well as their biosecurity (antimicrobial resistance test and hemolysis test). The results showed that 2/23 lactic acid bacteria had antagonistic activity against a broad spectrum of indicator strains. They had good lactic acid production, and medium to low biofilm production. In addition, they presented a good biosafety profile which is reflected by a sensitivity to the majority of antibiotics (chloramphenicol, clindamycin, tetracycline and amoxicillin + clavulanic acid), absence of hemolytic activity of beta type. These two isolates must be tested in vivo in aquaculture application in order to preserve the microbiological health of the environment and to improve aquaculture production far from selection pressures and antibiotic resistance.
