Da Tucidide A Boccaccio: Gli Esordi Di Una Pestilentia In Scritti Letterari

Résumé: Riassunto: Il fenomeno “Pestilenza” non era molto frequente in letteratura e viene per la maggioranza del tempo trattato nel campo scientifico. Le uniche tracce letterarie risalgono alla Grecia antica con Tucidide che narra le vicende della guerra del Peloponneso o al poeta latino Lucrezio e il suo poema Sulla natura delle cose e infine Giovanno Boccaccio e il suo Decameron. Il nostro contributo descrive la presenza della peste nei primi scritti letterari analizzando l’apparizione del contagio, la sua propagazione e le sue conseguenze disastrose attraverso i tempi, e in modo particolare nelle opere de: La guerra del Peloponneso; Sulla natura delle cose; Il Decameron. Il nostro obiettivo è di vedere come i diversi autori hanno abbordato la pestilenza e che ritratto suo hanno dipinto. الملخص: الحديث في الأدب عن الطاعون قليل جدا وما عولج منه كان في الغالب من الجانب الطبي والعلمي. ورغم ذلك كانت هناك بعض المؤلفات التي تعود إلى الحقبة الإغريقية والرومانية والعصر الوسيط مع الكتاب: ثوقيديدس (Thucydide) وكتابه "الحرب البيلوبونيسية" ولوكريتيوس (Lucretius) وقصيدته "في طبيعة الأشياء" والإيطالي جيوفاني بوكاتشيو وكتابه "ديكاميرون". هذا المقال الذي يهدف إلى تحديد كيفية تمثيل الطاعون من طرف هؤلاء المؤلفين ، يبحث أيضا عن آثار تفشي الطاعون في الأدب القديم وكيف ظهر وانتشر في مختلف المدن وما كانت عواقبه عبر القرون. Résumé : Trouver des traces sur la maladie de la peste en littérature est très rare. Il est généralement analysé du point de vue scientifique et médical. La première apparition de la pestilence dans les écrits littéraires remonte à la Grèce avec l’écrivain Thucydide ou au poète latin Lucrèce ou encore à l’écrivain italien Boccaccio. Notre article veut aborder la thématique de la peste dans les écrits littéraires en analysant son apparition, sa propagation et ses conséquences désastreuses sur l’humanité, mais particulièrement son emploi comme contexte du récit dans les œuvres : La guerre du Péloponnèse ; De rerum natura (De la nature) et Décaméron. Notre objectif est de cerner comment chaque auteur a présenté la prégnance de la peste et sa perception dans les atmosphères des récits. Abstract Finding traces of the "plague" in literature is very rare. It is generally analyzed from a scientific and medical point of view. The first appearance of pestilence in literary writings dates back to Greece with the writer Thucydides or the Latin poet Lucretius or the Italian writer Boccaccio. Our article aims to address the theme of the plague in literary writings by analyzing its appearance, its spread and its disastrous consequences on humanity, but particularly its use as a context for the narrative in the works: History of the the Peloponnesian War; On the Nature of Things; The Decameron. Our objective is to identify how each author represented the significance of the plague and his perception in the atmospheres of the stories.
