الخصوصيّة العربيّة وإشكالية الانفتاح على الآخر مثاقفة طوعيّة أم ضرورة حتميّة؟
Résumé: Is the Arabic specific and problematic issue of openness to the other a matter of voluntary acculturation or destiny? This article deals with the image of the ego versus the image of the other. The issue is considered one of the most important studies of the comparative literature that are interested in studying, analyzing and comparing cultural images. It deals with mental/ cultural/ social perceptions and representations, which are formed by peoples of different nations on each other who produce texts as the novels for instance. The study also seeks to explore the problematic of acculturation via disclosing its nature, its historical and cultural contexts, and its relationship with the other who appears to be, in this case, the image of the occupier.
