Résumé: This research studies the paratexte of the modern Algerian novelist especially “The paratexte of the Cover” as the most striking and influential visual space in the reader. We choose a novel of the author Sarah Haidar called “ The Craving of the horse” to study how the privacy of the female was dropped on the geometry of the visual space, which usually reflects the unconscious reservoir of the woman’s psychology, as well as several depressions that competed with the male visionary, especially by employing the female body as an expression of the female imagination.
