إشكالية ترجمة اللهجات الفردية والاجتماعية في روايتي "مجد أبي" و"قصر أمي" لـمارسيل بانيول Translating Idiolects And Sociolects In Marcel Pagnol’s La Gloire De Mon Père And Le Château De Ma Mère

Résumé: ليس من الهين نقل العناصر اللغوية المرتبطة باللهجة الفردية واللهجة الاجتماعية، لما تحملان من شحنات دلالية متشعبة ومتداخلة. يهدف هذا المقال إلى تبيان العراقيل التي يواجهها المترجم أثناء محاولته ترجمتهما من الفرنسية إلى العربية، ومعرفة كيفية التعامل مع الظاهرتين من منظور ترجمي بتسليط الضوء على الملامح التي تتحقق فيها، من لكنة ونطق ولهجة محلية وأساليب شفهية مصاحبة لها، في إحدى أكثر الروايات تجسيدا للصبغة المحلية الريفية أو البروفنسية، وما لها من دلالات فردية واجتماعية في آن معا. ذلك أن العلاقة الوطيدة بينهما وبين متغيرات لسانية أخرى قد تصّعب مهمة نقلهما من لغة إلى أخرى. لذلك، تناولنا بالتحليل ترجمة بعض الجمل الممثلة لها في روايتي مجد أبي وقصر أمي لـمارسيل بانيول، حيث جاء موقف المترجم منها متضاربا ولجأ للحذف في أكثر من موضع لصعوبة إيجاد مكافئ ينقل الصيغ الشديدة الفردية أو الاجتماعية المحلية البحتة. فتعذر عليه أحيانا نقلهما بأمانة لاختلاف أساليب تحقيقهما بين الثقافتين، أو لغياب ما يكافئهما في اللغة المستقبلة. This paper investigates the difficulty of translating idiolects and sociolects from French into Arabic, and how the translator tackles obstacles encountered when trying to recreate their effects. We sought to focus on linguistic aspects pertaining to them, such as the accent, the pronunciation, the regiolect and the orality which could embody them. We chose a meridional French literary work which perfectly depicts the local color of Provence, through its prolific use of idiolects and sociolects. The difficulty of rendering those notions was noticeable when we analyzed the translation of some sentences which best represent them in Marcel Pagnol’s La Gloire de mon père and Le Château de ma mère. We could ascertain that both phenomena are interrelated, which is challenging since it is impossible to demarcate their aspects. Thus, their transfer is sometimes scarcely possible and doomed to fail, as they are differently achieved, or inexistent in the target culture.
