Résumé: ملخص: تحاول هذه الدراسة التعريف بجماعة يهود اليديشية، أو بمصطح آخر جماعة يهود شرق أوروبا من خلال كتابات عبد الوهاب المسيري، وذلك بتسليط الضوء على أوضاعهم الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية أثناء استقرارهم في أوروبا الشرقية وبعد هجرتهم إلى أمريكا، ورصد أهم التطورات والتأثيرات التي لحقت بأعضاء الجماعة بعد خروجهم من عزلتهم، واندماجهم بأفراد المجتمع الأمريكي، الأمر الذي أدى بهم في نهاية المطاف إلى فقدان هويتهم وخصوصياتهم الثقافية القومية، حتى سماهم المسيري بالأمريكيين الجدد. Abstract: This study attempts to introduce the Yiddish Jews through the writings of Abdel Wahab El-Messiri, by defining their social, economic and cultural conditions during their settlement in Eastern Europe and after their immigration to America, and monitoring the most important developments that occurred to the members of the group after their integration into American society, the end of which was the loss of their cultural identity, which is why he called them The New Americans.
