الدين والثقافة السياسية الفرنسية بالجزائر 1954-1830
Résumé: ملخص 1/ باللغة العربية خلال فترة الإستعمار الفرنسي للجزائر، سعت فرنسا إلى إستغلال الدين والثقافة للسيطرة على السكان الجزائريين وتثبيت حكمها، حيث تجلت سياستها الدينية في محاولات لنشر المسيحية من خلال هدم المساجد والزوايا وتعويضها ببناء الكنائس مع محاربة الإسلام. أما من الناحية الثقافية سعت السياسة الفرنسية إلى محاربة التعليم وتعويضه بالتعليم الفرنسي من خلال فرض سياسة الفرنسية والتجهيل كما عملت أيضا على تشويه الثقافة العربية من نهب كتبها ومخطوطاتها وتاريخها إلا أن هذا السياسة واجهة مقاومة قوية من قبل الجزائريين الذين تمسكو بدينهم وثقافتهم فدافعوا عنها بمختلف الوسائل. 2/ باللغة الإنجليزية During the period of French colonization of Algeria, France sought to exploit religion and culture to control its power. Its religious policy was manifested by attempts to propagate Christianity through zaouias, replaced by the construction of churches, while fighting Islam on the cultural level, French policy sought to fight education by replacing it with French teaching, by imposing a policy of francization and ignorance. It also worked to deform the Arab culture plundering its books, its manuscripts and its history. However, this policy encountered strong resistance from Algerians who clung to their religion and culture, defending them by various means.
