Évaluation De La Qualité Des Eaux Souterraine Par Outil Sig.cas De La Partie Aval Du Bassin Versant D’’oued Djendjen (jijel)
Résumé: The study of the water quality of the Oued Djendjen watershed (Jijel province) is necessary to evaluate the quality of the water and its uses. The increase of the population and the diversified requirements solicit more and more this resource, which leads to quantitative and qualitative shortages. The aim of this study is to evaluate the quality of groundwater in the Oued Djendjen basin by calculating the water quality index (WQI) in this area. The results show that the groundwater of Oued Djendjen watershed is characterised by three classes where the good to excellent state covers the majority of the water points of the basin. The results obtained from (SAR) and (Na %), show that groundwater is suitable for irrigation for most agricultural crops in the region. In general, the water is still of good quality for both human consumption and irrigation. However, control of pollution sources is required to ensure sustainable development of the region.
