التواجد العسكري الأمريكي في البحر الأبيض المتوسط بعد 11 سبتمبر 2001

Résumé: من خلال الأسطول السادس يتجلى التواجد الأمريكي في البحر المتوسط فهو الدرع العسكري الحامي لمصالحها الحيوية،ومهمته كآلية إستراتيجية فرض السيطرة الأمريكية في البحر الأبيض المتوسط، لتأمين إحتياجات النفط الخليجي للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحلفائها بغرب أوروبا،وكذا ضمان أمن وإستقرار الدول المتوسطية . إن الوجود العسكري الأمريكي الذي تجسده قواعد عسكرية رئيسية، يمثل أحد معطيات الأساسية في معادلة الأمن الإقليمي، ويتيح للولايات المتحدة حرية حركة واسعة في مواجهة ما تعتبره تهديدا لمصالحها وأمنها القومي بعد التحولات التي مست العالم عموما والولايات المتحدة خصوصا كانت أحداث 11 سبتمبر 2001 إشارة إنطلاق أو تحول في الإستراتيجية الأمريكية الأمنية لمواجهة الإرهاب، وإنتشار أسلحة الدمار الشامل والجريمة المنظمة و الهجرة غير شرعية و غيرها من التهديدات الأمنية الجديدة في البحر الأبيض المتوسط. ويمثل حلف شمالي الأطلسى أحد آليات الإستراتيجية الأمريكية من أجل ضمان تواجد في المتوسط إلي جانب الأسطول السادس. وهو يتيح للولايات المتحدة تحكم واسع النطاق إتجاه التفاعلات على صعيد المنطقة فالمتوسط يعد أهم بحار العالم و يشكل لمن يسيطر عليه قوة إستراتيجية، لذا فالولايات المتحدة بإعتبارها أعظم قوة عالمية لم يكن من المستغرب أن تلعب الدور العسكري والأمني الأكبر في البحر الأبيض المتوسط. The US presence in the Mediterranean is the shield of its vital interests and its mission as a strategy to impose American control in the Mediterranean to secure the Gulf oil needs of the United States and its allies in Western Europe, as well as to ensure the security and stability of Mediterranean countries. The US military presence, embodied by major military bases, represents one of the basic elements of the regional security equation. It allows the United States freedom of movement in the face of what it considers to be a threat to its interests and national security following the changes that have taken place in the world in general and the United States in particular. Or a shift in US security strategy to counter terrorism, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, organized crime, illegal immigration and other new security threats in the Mediterranean. NATO is one of the US strategic mechanisms to ensure an average presence alongside the Sixth Fleet. The United States is the world's greatest power.
