محمد الطاهر بن عاشور وجهوده في إصلاح التعليم

Résumé: محمد الطاهر بن عاشور عالم تونسي توفي سنة 1973 م، عرف بعلمه الغزير وثقافته الموسوعية التي تنوعت بين علوم الشريعة واللغة العربية ، كانت له جهود واضحة في مجال إصلاح التعليم فألف في ذلك كتاب : أليس الصبح بقريب ، وركز في إصلاحه على مراجعة تاريخ التعليم عند المسلمين ، فتنبه إلى أهم أسباب فساده فرأى أن من بينها : فساد التآليف وفساد المعلمين ، ورأى أنه من الضروري الاهتمام بما يلي : -1 اختيار الكتب الصالحة للتدريس وتوزيعها حسب القدرات الذهنية للمتعلمين، من خلال إنشاء هيئة مختصة تقوم باختيار هذه الكتب. -2 الاهتمام بضرورة مواكبة التعليم وبرامجه لحاجات العصر. -3 الدعوة إلى تجنب طريقة الإلقاء والعكوف على ما وصل إليه الأقدمون وذلك بالتحليل والنقد والانتقاء. Abstract Mohamed Tahar Ben Achour (October16th,1879 –April 20th,1973) is a Tunisian prominent Muslim scholar. He was best known for his thorough knowledge and inclusive culture which was ranging from the Arabic language and the Islamic religion. Ibn Ashur played a leading role in the dissemination of Arab-Islamic culture and called for substantive reforms in Islamic education. He wrote his most influential book “Isn't the Morning Coming soon ?” In his reforms, he saw himself as a bridge between the classical Islamic legal heritage and the needs of a modern world. He focused his reforms on reviewing the history of teaching for the Muslims. Then, he notified the main causes of its corruption, among them: the corruption in both authoring and teaching. Ibn Ashur asserted the view that we should take into account the following: 1- The selection of worthy books according to the mental capacity of the learners, through the establishment of a competent authority which chooses these books. This latter should be targeted to teaching and distribution. 2- More attention should be given to the necessity to integrate teaching and its syllabi to modern life. 3- The call to avoid dumping but rather paying significant attention to what ancients reached through analysis, criticism and selection
