Calcul De Verification De L'unité De Déparaffinage Des Huiles Au Niveau De La Raffinerie D'arzew Ra1z
Résumé: The objective of this study is to verify the equipments operation of the zone 05 dewaxing unit at Arzew refinery (RA1Z). The unit contains a heater (E-401), refrigerant (E-402), regenerative crystallizers (E-403) and propane crystallizers (E- 404) for separating paraffins from oils with a selective solvent wich is a mixture of MEK (methyl-ethyl-ketone) and toluene. From the results of the parameters we calculated and after comparing them with those of design to know the performance of this unit and the situation of these equipment, we found that the exchange surface of heater 33 m2 and refrigerant 194.3 m2 are almost in agreement with the design 58 m2 and 196 m2, as well as the number of regenerative crystallizers and calculated propane is equal of that to the real number (4). Also the calculated exchange surface of the latter (297.28 m2) is less than the real value (324 m2).
