دور قبائل الفولاني في الثورة المهدية بالسودان 1881-1899م

Résumé: Abstract: The movement of Sheikh Osman Ben Foudi is one of the most important movements in the Africa continent. Its infleunce is not confined to the territory of Skutu in particular and West Africa in general, but to the eastern part of the continent. The constributions of the Folani are prominent in the revolution of Mohammed Ahmed Al- Mahdi (1884-1899) and their dependence on them in the administration and the judiciary, and it reached to the point of surrenduring to them, and their efforts in this revolution have culminated in one of them -Abd Allah Al- Taawashi- the position of the Mahdia Caliphate after the death of its leder. Keywords: Mahdia revolution; Folani ; Osman Ben Foudi ; Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mahdi ; Sudan. الملخص: تُعدّ حركة الشيخ عثمان بن فودي من أهم الحركات الإصلاحية في القارة الإفريقية، لأن تأثيرها لم ينحصر على إقليم سوكوتو خاصة وغرب إفريقيا عامة، بل تعداه إلى الجهة الشرقية للقارة؛ إذ نجد إسهامات الفولانيين بارزة في ثورة محمد أحمد المهدي (1884-1899)، من خلال مشاركتهم في جيشه وتقلدهم رتب عسكرية مهمة، واعتماده عليهم في الإدارة والقضاء، ووصل الأمر إلى حد مصاهرته لهم، وكُلّلت جهودهم المبذولة في هذه الثورة بتقلد أحدهم -عبد الله التعايشي- منصب الخلافة المهدية بعد وفاة زعيمها.
