Résumé: The topic of our research was entitled “The Conceptual Metaphor,” “Abir Sarir” by Ahlam Mosteghanemi. Conceptual grand metaphor, types of conceptual metaphor (structural ontological direction with application to the novel)As for the second chapter, it was entitled the metaphor in its relationship with the reader, in which we dealt with reading and the types of reader (implicit and typical) with application to the novel.Finally, the nclusion dealt with a number of results, the most important of which are: that metaphor creates new meanings with which we enrich the language, and that metaphor is present in all our daily fields and experimental practices
