Contribution A L’etude De La Caractérisation Du Béton Renforcé Par Des Déchets De Verres
Résumé: Recycling waste is not only a way to reduce environmental degradation, but it can also reduce the manufacturing cost of certain materials used in concrete. In addition to the cement used in the manufacture of concrete, a large amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) is emitted, which has a negative impact on the environment. Glass powder is an inert waste in the concrete preparation process, the use of glass powder helps solve these problems and has been tested in many countries. Hence the idea of our experimental study. We partially replaced the cement with different proportions of glass powder at 0% (control), 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% for the formulation of the new hardened concrete and its durability in an arid environment. Our work gave acceptable results concerning the mechanical resistance. The best result was observed in the formula containing 10% glass powder compared to the control.
