Résumé: This study aimed at identifying the relationship between corruption as an independent variable measured by the perception of corruption and well-being index as a subordinate variable measured by the human development index and the study relied on the analytical descriptive approach to the theoretical aspect and the standard approach to the applied aspect , panel data analysis models were used on a sample of 16 Arab countries .During the period 2006-2021 , the results of the study showed a correlation between perception of corruption and the level of well-being, indicating a reverse relationship between corruption and well-being for all Arab counties .the fixed-effect model was most appropriate because there was a difference in conduct between states, but each state’s behaviour was consistent over time
