Résumé: يشكل موضوع الحكامة البيئية الدولية، على ضوء التحديات الكبرى التي تواجه اهتمام متعدد الجوانب أثر إيجابا وسلبا على سياسات الدول في معالجة هذه التحديات. ولم يعد باستطاعة الدول التصرف بإدارة منفردة في مجالات البيئة دون تدخل عناصر أخرى حكومية وغير حكومية وحتى أعضاء المجتمع المدني. إن التفكير بجدية في ماهية الحكامة الدولية أصبح أكثر من ضرورة نتيجة ارتباطه الوثيق بمصير الإنسانية جمعاء وأضحى يستمد قوته القانونية من القاعدة الآمرة التي تفرض التزامات خاصة لا يمكن لاعتبارات وطنية ضيقة أو لمصالح معينة، عدم احترامها. It is the subject of international environmental governance and sheds light on the key challenges facing interests on the many facets of countries' positive and negative policies to address these challenges. States can no longer act alone in the management of the environment, without the intervention of other elements of governmental and non-governmental organizations and even members of civil society.
