Résumé: الملخص: ان التحكيم كآلية لتسوية منازعات عقود الاستثمار، من أهم الضمانات التي تشجع على استقطاب الاستثمارات الأجنبية لما يوفره من توازن بين طرفي النزاع ، كما أن سرعة الاجراءات وكفاءة المحكمين ساهم بشكل كبير في زيادة مراكز التحكيم و إبرام العديد من الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات الدولية وتعد اتفاقية واشنطن من اهم الاتفاقيات المنظمة للتحكيم والتي انبثق عنها المركز الدولي لتسوية منازعات الاستثمار ، الذي ساهم في تسوية الكثير من المنازعات الناتجة عن عقود الاستثمار Arbitration as a mechanism for settling disputes in investment contracts, is one of the most important guarantees that encourage attracting foreign investments because of the balance it provides between the two parties to the dispute, the speed to procedures and the efficiency of arbitrators has contributed greatly to increasing arbitration centers and concluding many international agreements and protocols, and the Washington convention is considered one of the most important the agreements regulating arbitration from which the international centre for the settlement of investment disputes emerged, which contributed to settling many disputes resulting from investment contracts
