Chalcone Compounds And In Vitro Antioxidant Activity Of Ononis Angustissima Extracts
Résumé: The genus ononis (Fabaceae), includes about 17000 species and 700 genus .The bibliographical research on this genus shows its richness of secondary metabolites, especially flavonoids and, triterpenes. in traditional medicine used as an antiperspirant, diuretic and tonic drugs. It was also used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus, nephiritis, leukemia and uterine cancer. For this we are interested in an Algerian endemic plant ononis angustissima1, and studied in vitro antioxidant activity of Ononis angustissima extracts. the DPPH scavenging radical activity and anti-lipid peroxidation effect of Ononis angustissima extract showed a good activity. That encourag us to doing a separation and isolation process to get a compounds from Ononis angustissima extract which cause a this activity. By chromatographically separations and purifications performed on the ethyl acetate phase of ononis angustissima allowed us to isolate chalcones the structural identification of these compounds was established on the basis of the spectroscopic methods of analysis (UV, RMN)
