Résumé: The study aimed to shed light on the effectiveness of the accounting information system in the institution and its contribution to the tax audit process and to show the means by which they aimed to achieve this, which is represented in accounting information that is characterized by quality and characteristics that achieve the objectives of the institution and help increase the reliability of the tax base and thus serve the tax audit. This is through an effective accounting information system. Through this study, an applied study was conducted on the Algeria Telecom Corporation (Unit Ouargla) in an attempt to drop the theoretical side on the practical side. The most important thing recommended by the two students through this study is the need to give the effectiveness of the accounting information system more attention and study to highlight its role in the tax audit process
