Résumé: The study aimed at knowing and discovering the nature of the class environment as perceived by the students of the athletic and sportive sciences at the institute of athletic and sportive activities sciences and technicalities in Ouargla University. In addition, it seeks to know the extent of discrepancy regarding this conception in accordance with the variable of gender (males and females), the scholastic level (2nd year licence, 3rd year licence, 1st year master or 2nd year master). The researcher student utilised the descriptive approach with a surveying study to affirm the study hypotheses. The study sample was the students of the institute of athletic and sportive activities sciences and technicalities in Ouargla University, which conjoined 220 students, 195 males and 25 females. The researcher student relied on the module of class environment to collect data, and the following statistic tools were used: test ‘T’ for the statistic indication of differences, the algebraic average, the standard deviation, the percentage, the contradistinction analysis ‘Anova’. The researcher student concluded that there are differences between the males and females, leaning advantageously to the females, in the class environment as perceived by the institute’s students. Also, there are differences in that environment which are down to the scholastic level (licence and master students), leaning advantageously to the students of higher years. Additionally, there are differences of a statistical significance in that environment according to the level of scholastic procurement, leaning advantageously to those of higher procurement. The researcher student proposes boosting the positive image of the class environment and opening the space for researches that tackle the perceived class environment. And we insist on the teachers of sport and athletic education to develop further their performances via the principle of variation, innovation and control of class, which can make apparent the positive image that we arrived at in our instant research, particularly concerning the females.
