Financial Intermediation And The Support Of Economic Growth, Its Importance And Mechanisms Between Conventional And Islamic Approach

Résumé: The link between savers and investors is an important area in economic activity and to complement the income circle that leads to increase wealth and well-being, the financial intermediary is considered as a multi-product institution, because its activities are often characterized by pluralism, diversity and overlap, Also, the field of banking activity is characterized by changing and renewal, whether at the level of internal and external working mechanisms, by inventing new financing formulas, providing new services, using new technology… Analysis of the importance of intermediation on the macro-components of the economy between theoretical and applied studies and analytical and descriptive research goes beyond to include the components of this sector and its mechanisms, with a case study to find out the characteristics of financial intermediation and its importance in Algeria, with its conventional and Islamic parts and its most important indicators. It was reached the importance of linking, activating and increasing the efficiency of financial intermediation in carrying out its tasks, and granting facilities to economic partners with a theoretical preference for the participatory financing model, which is still small in the case of Algeria, which requires quantitative and qualitative measures in favor of developing Islamic finance and giving it its opportunity and its role in advancing economic development
