واقع الريف بمنطقة الشلف أواخر الفترة الاستعمارية (1945-1962)

Résumé: Abstract The research aims to identify the reality of the countryside in the region of Chlef at the end of the colonial period (1945-1962). This is one of the most difficult periods for the rural population of the Chlef region over the last century, given the succession of major events and disasters that the region has experienced. After the Second World War and its devastating consequences for the Algerians, the earthquake of September 1954 hit the region and added suffering to the population, in general, and of the rural areas, in particular. The earthquake coincided with the outbreak of the Algerian revolution, which was accompanied by severe repression carried out by the colonial authorities as part of what they referred to as "the policy of pacification" at the time. The latter aimed to thwart the revolution by isolating it from the rural population and depriving it of all means of support and sources of supplies. To this end, detention camps, regrouping centers, as well as military campaigns were established. During the colonial period, the countryside of the Chelif region suffered from marginalization. The attention of the colonial authorities was strongly focused on the cities where the settlers live who had acquired the best lands of the plains and left the poorest and most rugged to the Algerian peasants Research Material is from French sources and testimonies of witnesses who lived this period. I tried to make a comparison between what the French sources wrote and what the witnesses said, to give a closer picture of the reality experienced by the rural people of the Chlef region during the period studied. ملخص يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على واقع الريف بمنطقة الشلف أواخر الفترة الاستعمارية (1945-1962). تعتبر هذه الفترة من أصعب الفترات على سكان الريف في منطقة الشلف خلال القرن الماضي لتتابع الاحداث والكوارث الكبرى التي عرفتها المنطقة؛ فبعد الحرب العالمية الثانية وما خلفته من نتائج وخيمة على الجزائريين؛ جاء زلزال سبتمبر 1954 الذي ضرب المنطقة ليزيد من معاناة سكان المنطقة عامة والريفيين خاصة. تزامنت كارثة الزلزال مع اندلاع الثورة والتي صاحبتها عمليات القمع الشديد التي قامت بها السلطات الاستعمارية - في إطار ما أسمته أنذاك بسياسة التهدئة والتي كان الغرض منها إفشال الثورة بغزلها عن سكان الريف وحرمانها من كل وسائل الدعم ومصادر التموين - كإقامة المحتشدات أو مراكز التجميع، وكذلك مراكز الاعتقال والتعذيب وشن الحملات العسكرية. لقد عانى الريف في منطقة الشلف خلال الفترة الاستعمارية من التهميش. والإهمال الشديدين لأن اهتمام السلطات الاستعمارية كان منصبا على المدن حيث كان يقيم المعمرون الذين استحوذوا على أجود الأراضي في المناطق السهلية وتركوا للفلاحين الجزائريين أفقرها في المناطق الوعرة والجبال. استمدت مادة هذا البحث من المصادر الفرنسية ومن شهادات الشهود الذين عايشوا الفترة. وحاولت الربط بين ما كتبته المصادر الفرنسية في هذا الموضوع وما ذكره الشهود متحريا الحقيقة لرسم صورة أقرب للواقع الذي عاشه سكان ريف منطقة الشلف خلال الفترة المدروسة.
