Antinociceptive And Anti-inflammatory, Anti-oxidant Activities Of Launaea Nudicaulis Aquous Extract In Experimental Animals
Résumé: Antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory potentials of aqueous extract of Launaeanudicaulis (LNAE) were evaluated against mice. Antinociceptive effects of LNAE were assessed in mice using the acetic acid-induced writhing and formalin test. Anti-inflammatory effectsof LNAE in three different doses, namely, 30, 100, and 300 mg/kg, were evaluated by utilizing mice representing various changes associated with inflammation, namely, histamine and serotonin-induced paw oedema, formalin-induced paw oedema, acetic acid-induced vascular permeability. Also LNAE was antioxidant activities evaluated using DPPH and TPC.The extract showed statistical significant inhibition of induced nociception and inflammation in dose dependent manner. The dose of extract 100 mg/kg significantly inhibited pain and inflammation against control (p< 0.001). The present study scientifically demonstrated the antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory potential of LNAE. These effects may be attributed to the presence of polyphenolic phytoconstituents in the extract. Keywords:Launaeanudicaulis ;Antinociceptive ; anti-inflammatory ; antioxidant activity.
